A Beautiful Late Spring Wedding at The Museum of Vancouver

Breanne and Daniel had postponed this wedding twice, but they eventually got the fantastic wedding day that they so deserved.

Both established and have successful careers, it seemed fitting that they chose their venue, the Museum of Vancouver as the setting for their wedding.

The Museum of Vancouver (MOV) (formerly the Vancouver Museum and prior to that the Centennial Museum) is a civic history museum located in Vanier Park, Vancouver, British Columbia. The MOV is the largest civic museum in Canada and the oldest museum in Vancouver. The museum was founded in 1894 and went through a number of iterations before being rebranded as the Museum of Vancouver in 2009.

It was an emotional day, and one filled with tears of joy and oh so much laughter. Having spoken to Breanne and Daniel several times over the previous 18 months, I knew how important it was for them to have their friends and family with them as they celebrated their wedding.

The weather held off as the cocktail session spilt onto the concourse before the guests headed inside for dinner and another emotional roller-coaster in the speeches.

It was a brilliant day for me as Documentary Wedding Photographer. I've been to the Museum of Vancouver several times before.

I left the happy couple dancing the night away. I hope you enjoy looking at these images as much as I did creating them.
